TV!
There is a 32" LCD HDTV sitting in our kitchen. It cost us $800 (12 months no interest) at Best Buy. Dude. But we will never, ever, ever have to get another TV. :P
We tried to buy a tube TV, but the selection over 20" sucks and we were limited by our entertainment center, too, and the few there were were too wide. (We have a 27" in there now and have gotten used to it.) The 32" LCD HD will give us a similar viewing area to the 27" tube, and was only about $140 more than the 27" LCD HD. We also got a wall mount and some stuff to hide the cords.

Of course, now we don't need the entertainment center (oh, dear unit, you have served us well!), and we DO need wall-mount shelves for the other components (been researching that this afternoon/evening), which is more money, but at this point, hey.

So! Oh, my. It will be nice to reduce the area all this stuff takes up; we have a tiny living room.

In the meantime, thanks to continuing mayhem with the old TV, I have resorted to using non-toxic superglue to reattach the babyproofing thing. I don't know if it's gonna hold, but at least I've had a little peace. Will didn't nap properly this afternoon, so he's snoozing now, but I'm gonna wake him up shortly in the hopes of sleeping tonight. :P

How'd he do?

Nate had some sleep trouble as a baby - he didn't require much sleep, to my chagrin. When kid #2 came along (Miss Mad) she slept so much I thought there was something wrong with her.

I may have shared that with you before. The reason is you too may get an amazing sleeper the second time around.

I think you get the point. I left the typo in because I thought it was funny. Glad he slept, hope he keeps it up.

sounds seriously nifty... and you can put the shelves for the various bits high enough that Will won't be able to mess with them. (just don't leave the remote where he can get at it!)

*grin* Way ahead of ya! *chuckle* It's gonna be something of a challenge to figure out how to give ourselves the same level of storage as we have now, but I'm good at that sort of thing. :)
